Niles C. SchoeningDr. Schoening is Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee and has been involved in regional economic development in both Alabama and Tennessee for the past thirty years. Dr. Schoening has been a consultant to the Gas Research Institute, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Metropolitan Development Board in Birmingham, the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce, the Huntsville/Madison County Airport Authority and other businesses and agencies in the Tennessee Valley. Dr. Schoening has published in the areas of regional economic development, industrial location, state and local taxation, utility pricing, and economic impact studies. |
